It was designed based on modern city life, where the open concept and free-flowing designs make everyday life more comfortable. The owner wanted a house that was luxurious, but comfortable–a mixture of smooth finishes and cozy textures. A key element centering around this culinary practicality as well as social aspect was the bar-style kitchen, ideal in entertaining guests.

Challenges & Solutions

The optimization of spatial flow around the kitchen, dining, and living space and not to affect privacy was one of the primary challenges. Zoning and material choices were used carefully to define different areas, but keep the overall impression open and airy. The challenge of incorporating high-end finishes into a working budget was another obstacle that was overcome with careful planning and master craftsmanship.

Techniques & Materials of Construction

The house design is focused on the durability and design, where the reinforce concrete and steel frame construction are applied. The interiors feature the combination of natural stone, engineered wood, and matte metallic elements, which radiates a sophisticated but comfortable atmosphere. The bar counter in the kitchen made of high-quality quartz serves as a breakfast nook and a socializing area.

In the spatial arrangement, the focus is on smooth transitions- with large sliding glass doors allowing the movement between the inside and the outside and built-in cabinetry that provides maximum storage without cluttering.
